I am really enjoying my new work area, not to mention a little time off from my job :)  Here are some earrings I made for my etsy shop and today was photos and posting all day.

While some of us just slept in our favorite little bed...

I'm giving away a set of beads (valued at over $75).  The best part is that you get to pick your color.  Just let us know if you want them as they are ... or possibly in pink, red, dark green, a robin's egg blue, black, navy ... you name it, we'll make it!

Here's what you have to do ... visit Amazon, take a "Look Inside", click on the "Liked" button, post the contest on your blog and become a follower ... if you aren't already. :-)   But don't forget to come back here and leave a comment on my blog so I can enter you in the drawing. We'll be announcing the winner next Tuesday at this time!

I love giving gifts ... and thank you in advance for helping me to get the word out about my book.   :-)

YEA!!! I have my very own work space

I have been looking into getting a jewelers bench but just was not sure what I really wanted or needed.  Well the other day while out shopping I made a wrong turn and came across a thrift store.  I found this old vanity that someone revamped  into a nice solid table hence my perfect new work space.  The top extends out which is great for my clamp-on tools, large drawers, metal edge so no roll-aways, very heavy no wobbles when hammering and even a cubby for a bead tray.

I am loving this $28.00 bargin...

NEW TOOL

Purchased a punch and die set a couple of weeks ago and I hadn't had any time to try it out.  YIPPEE! This weekend is free of activities.  There were no type of instructions included so I just started trying it out.  Made some small copper discs that I stamped on a design, cute but a little small.  Had to take a clean and feed dogs break went out through the garage and I noticed in one of my not sure what to do with boxes a small red and white tin plate.......PERFECT..........This would go great with one of my oldest daughters outfits.  She just sent me pictures and a jewelry request for a mini-vacation she is going on.  PUNCHING TIME :)                          SO LONG VINTAGE TIN-HELLO NEW EARRINGS.

Back To Work...

I am a construction electrician and have periods of off-time which I really enjoy! This allows me time to focus on my jewelry making but I am back to work which is good but...So my time is really limited with soccer, softball and puppies.  I also show Australian Shepherds and currently have a litter of 3 cute little guys.  I did get a chance to watch a great DVD on cold connections by Susan Lenart Kazmer.  Can't wait to try out some of these ideas.  So for now here's a warm fuzzy picture :)
